Visa and Official Invitation Letters

General Information

Valid passports are required. Entry visas may be necessary depending on the participant's nationality. Please refer to the website http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/index.html.

WE NO LONGER PROCESS REQUESTS FOR AN INVITATION LETTER FOR VISA APPLICATION

Deadline for invitation letter request

Please note that because it takes time to get an official government-issued invitation letter and to deliver the original hardcopy to the applicant, new requests for letters will NOT be accepted after midnight (PDT), September 5th, 2025. Please send your request form as soon as possible before the deadline, even if your travel arrangements are not finalized.
